About the Retreat

Come As You Are

This retreat is a place that meets you exactly as you are.

Together, we create a space for returning to yourself, the place inside where you stop performing, stop managing, and stop pretending.

This retreat helps you find your way home. Home is a feeling. It’s the moment your heart softens, and your spirit has room to breathe again.

Every woman has her own map. Her own way to ease, joy, connection, presence.

Your heart remembers its own path, and it's one you’ve walked before.

This retreat helps you recognize it again.

There is time to unwind, slow down, and give yourself what you need through movement, dance, immersion in nature, guided meditation, and rewiring trauma through drawing.

Through intentional practices, we gently work with what your body has been holding.

There is no analysis required and no prior experience necessary.

You don't need to have it figured out to be here. You just need to feel the quiet pull that says: this is for me.

This is the nudge towards freedom and loving yourself. I deserve more freedom and love.

In the heart of Slovenia, surrounded by sea air and soft landscapes, your system gets to exhale.

This is where you stop pushing and start feeling.

When you arrive, you're not asked to be anything. You just get to be held—by the land, by the practices, by the women beside you.

What to Expect

Three Doorways Into Yourself

We weave three complementary modalities into the retreat experience — Dance Alchemy, Somatic Practices, and Nonviolent Communication — each offering a different doorway into your emotional landscape, your body's wisdom, and your capacity for gentleness with yourself.

Dance Alchemy

Dance Alchemy is a modality developed by our teacher, Goran Bogdanovski. It experiments with movement as a way to feel and process emotions, reconnect with your inner compass, and trust your body as the one holding guidance.

Within Dance Alchemy, you'll experience two core sessions, including Into Humanness — a movement journey where we meet ourselves in the present moment. You'll have space to look inward, celebrate, grieve, feel, and forgive your flawed and magical self.

Somatic Practices

Somatic, body‑based work is essential because we can't talk our way into new beliefs or a grounded body. Insight alone doesn't create change — our nervous system does. When we work through sensation, breath, movement, and emotional literacy, the body becomes the place where new patterns can actually take root.

We begin with Hello, I'm Your Nervous System, a gentle one‑hour session that helps you settle into the space, meet your body where it is, and understand how your system communicates.

Then we move into What the Heart Remembers, Nada's five‑step drawing technique for exploring past beliefs, witnessing them with compassion, and gently rewriting the old stories that shaped you.

On the final day, you'll enter Future Desires, a separate session devoted to naming and feeling what you long for next, allowing your system to orient toward possibility with softness and intention.

Throughout the retreat, we weave in Qigong and BAM — Nada's grounding practice of Breathe, Affirm, and Move — used daily, along with evening grounding and relaxation practices to help your body integrate and rest.

Nonviolent Communication

In the NVC portion of the retreat, we'll explore self-empathy. Ana and Nada first met through their NVC practice, and Ana brings a strong, grounded presence to this work.

She will guide an exploration of how we can speak softly and more forgivingly to ourselves in moments when our inner critics are the loudest and most merciless.

Nonviolent Communication, developed by Marshall Rosenberg in the 1960s, is rooted in the understanding that our human needs unite us all. The feelings that arise in our bodies point us toward strategies to meet those needs — yet we often judge ourselves or others for the strategies chosen. When we understand the need underneath an action, true connection becomes possible.

What Women Are Saying

Stories of Ease

Loved every minute

I loved the playful beginning. We instantly built trust in the group, and I knew I was in for joy, fun, and simplicity from the very start. I loved being walked through the different intentions we can use with dance. The prompts were really lovely, and I loved the progression. The flow and structure of the dance session were really nice, and the warm-up and getting into a playful mood were fantastic. I loved the pace of the guidance and the clarity of the exercises.

Accessible and Deeply Supportive

What helped me most was learning simple tools that let me regulate emotionally, calm myself, and come back into a sense of safety — and it was especially meaningful to offer myself grace through the moment when I placed my hands on my drawing and sent compassion toward what it represented. Through the gentle guidance and clarity of the facilitation, the noise was cut through and we got right to the heart of what I was struggling with, and that combination of support, practicality, and emotional steadiness made the whole experience feel both accessible and deeply supportive.

Good People Connections

I love learning about neuroscience and this was the first time I heard of the Vagus nerve and polyvagal theory so I loved that. I'm not good at drawing, but that session did allow me to collect my thoughts better so I felt that was most helpful to me. I really feel this was valuable, not just from a receiving perspective but also from a sharing and giving perspective and wanting to help others through their processing in the same way they helped me. I felt some good people connections in the workshop.

Life at the Retreat

A Glimpse Into the Experience

Discover

Ever Been to Slovenia?

Those who have already visited Slovenia — a tiny country in central Europe — keep coming back. Here's why.

Super Compact

Spreading at only 20,000 square kilometers, almost everything is within an hour's drive. Infrastructure and public transport are solid.

Nature at Every Turn

From the Alps and alpine landscapes to the Mediterranean Sea within one hour — with lakes, rivers, plains, and hills in between — pristine nature is always within easy reach.

A Beloved Capital

Ljubljana (meaning: beloved) is home to 300,000 people, filled with parks, museums, and a picturesque car-free old town with a river running through it. Some compare it to a tiny Prague.

Perfect Summer & Fall

Summer and fall are arguably the best times to visit — warm temperatures, music and culture festivals, and endless activities in nature. Temperatures are always a few degrees lower outside the main cities.

Easy Mediterranean Access

Both Italy and Croatia — known for island hopping and dolce-far-niente summers — are neighbouring countries. The sea is never far.

Getting Here

Besides Ljubljana Airport, consider flying into Trieste, Italy (1h drive), Venice, Italy (3h), Zagreb, Croatia (2h), or Vienna, Austria (4h).

Consider extending your stay beyond the retreat and exploring the area.
